Big thanks for supporting MaceMFG and choosing our Ultem x Titanium key fob! We’ve got your installation covered with these simple steps:
STEP 1: REMOVE THE ELECTRONICS
Using a small flathead screwdriver or small, rigid, flat object, carefully separate the two halves and set the electronic assembly aside. Keep the rubber gasket for later use.
STEP 2: PLACE ELECTRONICS IN NEW MACE MFG FOB CASE
Take the electronics you just pulled out of the OEM fob and carefully place them into the back shell of the new fob case.
STEP 3: PLACE THE RUBBER GASKET IN
Place the OEM rubber gasket on top of the electronics in the new fob case.
STEP 4: ADD THE TITANIUM KEY RING
Pick up the front plate of the new fob case and place the titanium key ring in the designated slot on the top-inside grooves of the front shell.
STEP 5: PLACE BUTTON COVER
Place the button cover of your choice (black or transparent) into the inside of the designated bottom slots of the front shell.
STEP 6: ASSEMBLE OUTER SHELLS TOGETHER
Carefully place the front outer shell onto the back outer shell aligning the screw holes on the four corners of the new fob case. Ensure pieces are in place.
STEP 7: SCREW IT TOGETHER
Install each of the four screws into the front of the fob and tighten. Snug is perfect — no need to over-tighten.
And hey, if something isn't quite right with your order, reach out to us pronto. We're here to make things right!
Thanks again for being part of the MaceMFG family!
