Key Fob Case - 1G Tundra/FJ Cruiser & 3G 4Runner

 

Big thanks for supporting MaceMFG and choosing our Ultem x Titanium key fob! We’ve got your installation covered with these simple steps:

STEP 1: REMOVE THE ELECTRONICS

Using a small Phillips screwdriver, remove the screw from your OEM Lexus/Toyota key. Carefully separate the two halves and set the electronic assembly aside.

STEP 2: REMOVE THE METAL KEY

The metal key is molded into the front half of the OEM key. Grip the plastic base with pliers and twist firmly until the key breaks free.

STEP 3: INSTALL KEY INTO TITANIUM FRAME

Place the metal key into the machined pocket of the titanium frame, ensuring it is fully seated.

STEP 4: ASSEMBLE THE FOB

Sandwich the titanium key assembly between the Ultem front and back halves.

STEP 5: SECURE THE TOP

Install the two M3 screws into the top of the fob and tighten evenly.

Install the long M2 screw into the back of the fob, then install the short M2 screw into the front of the fob. Snug is perfect — no need to over-tighten.
